She is a Fine Arts Graduate of Exeter College of Art and Design.

Anita divides her time between illustration projects and building her own body of work.

Anita was the illustrator on Stanley the Christmas Tree, A Wish Come True and Be-Bop Alula and Bo. She has just completed two projects with Dr. PJ Nickels, Vultures in the Cemetery and Lewis the Lemur Adventures, The Belly of the Beast.

She is inspired by animals and people. Using water color, pen and ink and acrylic she produces a versatile range of illustrations from black and white line drawings to bold colorful designs.

Juliann was the illustrator for Nuni of Nunivak Island, A New Friend and  the artwork for the next three books in the series.

Her interests, besides her family, are spinning wool into yarn, crocheting and knitting, jewelry making and operating the family gift shop.

Juliann's interest in painting was sparked by the community of artists living in the area. She was given some "good watercolor paper" by an artist friend and introduced to the Northlight Book Club where she purchased books and taught herself to paint.
